Kristen and Rich's summer wedding

I haven't had a chance to blog too many weddings this season, but that will all change over the winter months. Kristen and Rich wrote me the nicest note and I wanted to take a second and showcase some of their images and album pages. Here's what they wrote.

It was such a pleasure working with this family again. I photographed multiple weddings and now even a new baby in the family. So much fun to capture all of these life journeys!!

The York Harbor Reading Room

Maria and Mike got married in Newburyport in a beautiful park a block from their gorgeous home. The sky was as blue as could be and it was a glorious day. Earlier in the week, there had been a threat of rain for their day, but it was not to be. After an emotional ceremony, with Mike's children standing up for them, Maria, Mike and I spent a few minutes in downtown Newburyport and then on to a special place at Seabrook Beach to take photographs. The York Harbor Reading Room was our next stop, which was a gorgeous venue for their evening celebration. They were a photographer's dream as they shucked their shoes and ran down the beach. There was a whole lot of kissing going on and we had a blast just running around from place to place, visiting all of the most memorable, special places in their lives. Congratulations!!

The wedding invitation was just amazing. That, and all of Maria and Mike's stationery and announcements were designed by Paper Potpourri in Haverhill - Elaine's talents and her unique selection of the finest, are a must have for your wedding.

Wentworth by the Sea Country Club

Kaitlin and Eric got married at the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club. Kaitlin got ready for the day at a beautiful townhouse located on the harbor at The Wentworth Hotel. I adored the colors that she chose for the wedding. The flowers were amazing and it was a gorgeous day to celebrate the last days of summer. With their family and friends surrounding them, celebrating with them, and honoring them, Kaitlin and Eric had an unforgettable wedding day, ending with a full moon . . . just stunning.

The Wentworth Hotel - Laura and Kevin's Wedding

Laura and Kevin got married at a very quaint church in Portsmouth. It was a small and intimate gathering that continued on to the fabulous Wentworth Hotel in Rye, NH. Gorgeous day and amazing photo opportunities made for an awesome mix of images. Some of my favorites!! Congratulations Laura and Kevin!!

Baby Evan - a little dreamboat

I photographed Suzanne and Ed's wedding just over 2 years ago on 7/7/07, and here is their brand new little dreamboat, Evan Russo Fortuna. I think it is so cool that they gave Evan, Suzanne's maiden name for his middle name - that must have made her Dad, so happy. He lived in a house full of beautiful women and now has a precious grandson with the Russo name honored. And, I love when my brides and grooms share all of their life's journeys with me. I'm so honored myself!!

Beautiful Thank You Cards

Maureen and David asked me to design an elegant thank you card for their special guests, and I was so excited to discover that they had chosen one of my favorite images from the wedding day. It represents my documentary style of photography - so beautifully!!

Indian Pond Country Club, Kingston, MA

Jennifer and John were married on one of the rare beautiful days this summer. We took a drive to Plymouth and took advantage of the beautiful gardens and waterfront area and then on to the Indian Pond Country Club for even more gorgeous photographs. For all of you grooms out there that compare having your photographs taken to watching weekly episodes of Army Wives, John was no exception. What I did witness, though, was all that he was willing to do to make Jennifer happy. We had a lot of laughs over what he didn't want to do, but just like magic, with a little cajoling from Jennifer, he stepped up and just let his love for her shine through. Jennifer and John and their guests danced the night away to Boston Players Band, which I just adore working with - so talented and fun!

An Adorable Frame Find

Photography by Linda is now offering this line of whimsical frames. They come in such an array of colors, you are sure to find something that matches your nursery or your child's bedroom. The colors and trims are all mix and match. I will have these on display in my new portrait room at the Andover studio, which I am currently decorating in a theme of beach and seaglass colors. I can't wait to show it off - more pictures soon!!

I have been creating Save The Date Cards for my clients with their favorite images from their engagement sessions. Here is a recent one - so simple, elegant and classy. I printed this image sepia, but left just a hint of color and it matches their wedding colors perfectly. Congratulations Andrea and Brian!!

Kat and Eugene's Wedding, The Royal Sonesta Hotel, Boston

Kat and Eugene were married on an amazing fall day in Boston. The Royal Sonesta Hotel was the setting and the foliage was stunning. They were a sophisticated, fun and adventurous couple and very joyful and blissfully happy. It was an honor to be chosen as their photographer. And telling the story that day was extra special because my creative and talented friend Brittany from BKB Photography was with me helping to capture all of the moments. Always a blast to shoot with Brittany - she's a whirlwind of energy and creativity. Thanks BKB, and thanks to Kat and Eugene for making it so easy to create a beautiful wedding day story!

These young women rocked it today - I had such a blast shooting these portraits and then stylizing them in a funky, creative way!!

Amazing Class with Bry Cox

I spent a week on Cape Cod with an amazing teacher and photographer, Bry Cox. We've been trying to channel our inner painter with some beautiful artistic techniques -- this image was captured at Craigsville Beach at 6:30 a.m., and then the painting began. Not bad for my first try. I can't wait to try this with some of my wedding images.



And here's Bry in action - that's me in the back - the tall one - in short sleeves outside in 40 degree weather - it was worth every shiver. This photo was taken by our classroom director.
